Anthem: Snakes + Plane = Ur Screwed!

Today’s “Anthem” is Snakes on a Plane ( Bring it) by Cobra Starship. The song is based off the movie Snakes on a Plane.  The music video features Samuel L. Jackson and his infamous quote. There is also a rap from Gym Class Hero’s Travis. The song and music video seem to clash a bit though. The song seems be from a passenger’s point of view. Such lines like “Bought the cheap champagne we’re going down in flames, hey!” lead me to believe that it is from the perspective of the person whom the snakes were “sent” to kill rather than the people who sent them. However, in the music video Cobra Starship and Travis are going through security, pretending to be airline employees, and sneaking snakes on the plane. If I was the director I would probably listen to the song a few more times. If the switch in roles was on purpose then I am obviously not mentally capable of figuring out why!
